These reflections aim to demonstrate the three perceptible realities of the Word: the assembly, the proclamation, and the symbol, so that those who make use of them understand the importance of the reading-proclamation of the Word of God as the foundation of dialogue between God and His people and as one of the modes of Christ’s presence in the Liturgy. They also seek to offer, in a concise manner, some points for the appreciation of the Word and for a liturgical spirituality based on its proclamation, listening, understanding, and life. Finally, this research seeks to highlight, within the historical and liturgical context, the importance of celebrating the Word of God as a true liturgical action.
