Abstract

This paper deals with the relationship of the visual arts with evangelization in contemporary times through the mystagogy and spirituality present in the Catholic artist. However, it is necessary to understand the aspects that art works through symbols and signs in images of worship and images of devotion for a true mission, focused on the testimony of life. Every Christian, here prioritized the artist, has the duty to spread the proclamation of the gospel seeking to express himself in the language of the other without losing the authenticity of the Catholic faith.
